Puppy DP Vaccine A live attenuated freeze-dried vaccine containing canine distemper virus and canine parvovirus (C154). Active immunization of young puppies against canine distemper virus, and canine parvovirus infection. The puppy vaccination program can be completed from a minimum of 10 weeks of age. It is an injectable live attenuated vaccine for the active immunization of young puppies against the most common and deadly diseases in puppies i.e. canine distemper and parvovirus and provides broad coverage against them.

Puppy Dp Side Effects Of This Vaccination:
Occasionally a mild anaphylactic – type hypersensitivity reaction may occur after vaccination. This type of reaction can occur after the injection of any foreign protein and is, in most cases, self–limiting. Only healthy dogs should be vaccinated, and an adequate clinical examination should be made before inoculation.
Sterile injection equipment should be used for administration. Care should be taken to avoid contamination of a vaccine with traces of disinfectant or spirit.
Avoid intravenous injection. A diffuse swelling up to 5mm in diameter following subcutaneous administration may be observed at the site of injection. Sometimes this swelling may be painful and hard and may last up to 3 days post-injection.
A transient rise in body temperature in some rare cases may occur.
Hypersensitivity reactions are rare, but as with all vaccines, may occasionally be encountered. In such an event, administration of an antihistamine, corticosteroid, or adrenaline by the most immediate route may be indicated.
